As soon as I saw the Whetstone Coffee website, I had a feeling things were going to be different. The attention to detail with the flavor profiles and the explanations of the various roast levels let me know that I was in for a much deeper experience than with the typical grounds purchased from the grocery store or a national coffee shop chain. What I wondered, however, was how much of all that was true. I mean, coffee is coffee, right? Wrong. The old adage goes that the proof of the pudding is in the eating. And the proof of Whetstone Coffee was discovered when I lifted the first steaming cup to my lips. I had never been able to tolerate drinking my coffee "black." But I promised Roastmaster Josh Whetstone that I would give his beans a shot, sans any supplemental cream or sugar. The first cup was so good, I had to go back and try a second. You know, just to be sure. I learned my lesson that day. Not all coffee beans are harvested/roasted/ground or brewed equally. And the Whetstone Coffee experience is designed to prove that fact, cup after cup.

There is a difference between a "cup of joe" and a nicely roasted, fresh brewed cup of coffee. One is burnt, and one is full of big flavor, much like a good wine. I've never tasted coffee this fresh, and I know it's fresh because I've seen where it's made! Great coffee. Get some.

My experience with Whetstone Coffee was great. It was easy to order, shipped quickly and I received it the next day. The coffee is wonderful; we thoroughly enjoyed it. I have always loved my coffee but did not know coffee could taste so much better when it is fresh roasted and fresh ground. What a difference! I'm a new believer! It is well worth the effort to reorder. This is fun...a new adventure!
